"We booked a customized half-day trip for our 7 hours flight stopover in Beijing. Booking via internet went very well with a very responsive and understanding service. They were flexible and understanding of our tight time schedule and the associated risks (traffic, flight connection). It all went perfectly well: Pick-up at the airport, well-informed, English-speaking tour guide, visit to Tiananmen Square and the immediate surroundings. Our tour guide got us into the Mao Mausoleum just before it closed. We also toured the National Museum of China. We absolutely maximized the time and caught our onward flight. I can highly recommend this tour operator. "

"Booked with William about 2 months in advance and responded very quickly to emails.
Picked up right on time at airport by John who was a very friendly guide and very helpful. He walked with us on the great wall and also gave us some free time to explore, he also told a lot of interesting stories about forbidden city ,he also taught us some Chinese . Excellent service only wish I had more time then i have a chance to see Temple of heaven and Summer Palace ! I leave it to the next layover in Beijing airport !
Excellent layover tour though and the Great Wall was a clear day luckily and very great views !! Zaijian , John !!"

"My wife and I had a 20 hour layover with Layover-tour-beijing in Beijing. John picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. We had a great day in Beijing. John took us on a private tour to the Great Wall and the Summer Palace. John was an excellent tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly.He made us feel very comfortable from the moment we met. In addition to being a good tour guide, he is also a good photographer. He took lots of pictures of us together. It is always hard to get good couple pictures when we travel as a couple. I would highly recommend him."

"We had a wonderful day seeing Beijing on the 14 hr layover tour. The tour included the Great Wall of China, Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. First off, William helped calm all of my traveling concerns about leaving the airport. He replies promptly and professionally.
Du was our tour guide and he was amazing! He spoke great English and provided good background of the historical landmarks we visited. I was able to relax and enjoying seeing beautiful Beijing with good company. The driver was exceptional too.

"My husband, daughter and I spent a day in April with Layover-Tour-Beijing . William was extremely efficient beforehand arranged everything nicely .
Hannah was our tour guide , kindly waited us in the airport. She was very good fun, knowledgeable about the history of the city and flexible about what we wanted to do. Her suggestion for a dumpling lunch place was ideal and she was a great help with handbag shopping know-how. We enjoyed all her suggestions, especially watching people exercise in the park and mingle in the hutongs. "We traveled to China in February to adopt our little girl and decided to tour Beijing for three days prior to traveling to Nanchang, the town where her orphanage is located. We told our adoption agency about our desire to see Beijing, so they arranged a Beijing tour with our guide, William. We are very grateful to have met William. He is very dependable, knowledgeable about the area, and has a great sense of humor; he kept us laughing the entire time! One of our favorite memories about Beijing was just hearing William's story. He took us to the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, and the Bird's Nest, the Forbidden City, the Beijing Acrobatic Show, a Hutong tour, as well as many great restaurants. "I have traveled to Beijing, with my husband and sons, twice in the last four years, and feel so lucky to have had William as a guide on both trips. There were so many incredible experiences and so many breathtaking sights in Beijing, but it is the time we spent with William on both trips that stays with me. He was all of the things you hope for in a guide -- responsive and helpful with questions in the planning process; punctual, knowledgeable, patient and friendly once we arrived. "My girlfriend Susan and I had an eight hour layover in Beijing, so we decided to book a trip with Layover-Tour-Beijing to go see the Great Wall. Obviously, time was of the essence, as 3 hours of driving and at least two hours in and out of the airport doesn't leave a huge time .
William was early to meet us at the airport provided us a relaxed ~ 90 minutes at the Wall. William provided plenty of local history and also gave us some hands off time when we wanted to go exploring a bit on our own. We arrived back at the airport with plenty of time to spare. All in all, it was the bestlayover I've ever had ! "
